Fashion // The Smart Joggers

Trousers: Next, Top: Ivy Park, Topshop, Shoes: Primark, Watch: Michael Kors, Jacket: H&M, Sunglasses: Primark

One trend that keeps getting recycled and is ridiculously 90s is styling up a pair of joggers, who knew that trend would make the return and Addidas stripes will look cool with a pair of heels.

I'll have to admit that I am still trying to get my head around it but I haven't braved pulling off this look. However I do own a pair of smart trousers from the Next workwear collection that pretty much fall under the jogger category and I am in love.

Aside from leggings, they are the most comfortable trousers I own, plus they are perfect for them bloated days as they are ever so forgiving.

I prefer to wear these in the warmer months, being a brighter navy blue and a wide leg I find them fairly difficult to style, so a lovely summery top to tuck in and some sandals create the perfect outfit.

Have you tried to style a pair of joggers yet? I'd love for you to share a few ways I can style these beauties.

Fashion // The Blouse to Fit all Trends

Blouse: Primark, Jeans: George at Asda, Boots: Topshop, Sunglasses: Primark

As today is technically the first day of spring, not that you would think it looking outside, I felt like my wardrobe needed switching up and it was time to welcome back in items for the warmer climate.

Gingham is one of the hottest trends this season and I for one am on board with this. I picked up this blouse from Primark a few weeks ago, I chose this on in particular as it had longer sleeves rather than the cut outs around the shoulders. We may be in spring, but if you don't live in Britain then you won't know that 80 to 85% of the time if is still pretty chilly. However, I love that the fabric is a lovely thin cotton which will keep you cooler in the warmer weather, plus you can roll up the sleeves too.

Another trend on the rise and again one that I am obsessed with is peplums!! This blouse is just perfect, it has the most beautiful peplum which has been cut perfectly on the fabric allowing to be be lovely and floaty and extremely flattering for my body shape. It adds that real girly vibe for a dressed down day!

Are you loving gingham and peplums?

Fashion // Over The Knee Boots

Dress: Primark, Boots: Asos, Jacket: Primark, Watch: Michael Kors, Bracelets, Pandora & Thomas Sabo

I have been debating for such a long time whether or not I should purchase a pair of over the knee boots. I know I am a little late to the party... again, but I could not decide if they would make me look like a stripper or would even fit over my legs. Finally after a mini online shopping on my lunch I caved in after finding these absolute beauties on Asos.

It was the tortoiseshell heels that won me over, they just give the boots that edgier and dressier feel which is quite nice rather than going for all black. I cannot wait to try and style them up, I chose my new dress and suede biker jacket from Primark but I'm thinking they would look lovely with a pair of skinny jeans and a chunky jumper.

I'm still in shock that I have kept them and actually left the house in them (I definitely did run to my car after feeling too dressed up for a Sunday afternoon). I'm not a skinny whatsoever, I have quite chunky legs, especially my thighs so I wasn't sure if I would even get them on and if I did would they stop my blood circulation or would I have a lot of over hang of fat? Surprisingly they were non of the above and after a million photos from every angle possible I feel like they look quite nice.

Do you own a pair of over the knee boots? What's your thoughts on them?

Lifestyle // Pamper Night Featuring Bamboo Towels

*Disclaimer: I received this set of Bamboo Towels from The Towel Shop to try at home for the purpose of the review. All opinions are entirely my own! I was also offered the opportunity to giveaway a set of Bamboo Towels on the colour of the winner's choice.

There is nothing better than taking an hour out of your day to relax, no matter what you have been doing that week everyone deserves a bit of me time.

My all time favourite way to escape everything and unwind is to run a very hot candle lit bath, with a prosecco in hand and have a pamper evening.

This week I was very fortunate to receive a package from The Towel Shop, they very kindly sent me some towels from their new 600 GSM Bamboo Range to build up my home wear collection after moving house and to give a little review. Let me tell you, they were THE perfect accessory to my pamper evening over the weekend!

Just the word 'Bamboo' screams luxury and oh my these towels are super soft and delicate on the skin - I am not just saying this because they gifted me them, I'm a sucker for a good towel and I was intrigued to see the difference n fabrics having never used Bamboo before.

I was pleasantly surprised, the fibres are much more delicate, this was certainly more noticeable when using the face cloth, as I have quite delicate skin I can usually feel the fibres dragging on my skin - particularly my face causing a little bit of irritation which I can experience when using a cotton face cloth. But this particular one from the Bamboo Range was so soft and left my skin a lot happier.

I love to get snug in the biggest and softest towel after having a bath and to continue the night of pampering, their bath sheet ticked all of these boxes. I don't think I have ever seen a towel so big, it was that soft and cosy I wanted to use it as a throw.

The set I received included the full range; Bamboo Face Cloth, Bamboo Hand Towel, Bamboo Bath Towel and the Bamboo Bath Sheet in the Charcoal Grey colour which are machine washable and Eco Friendly too!

The Towel Shop, who are based in Bolton, were even more generous and have allowed me to give you the opportunity to win their Bamboo Range which consists of a face cloth, hand towel, bath towel and bath sheet and you get to choose your own colour too (you lucky lot!) In order to have a chance to win, you just need to enter the giveaway below. Good luck.

Fashion // Oversized Camel Boyfriend Coat

Coat: Primark, Jumper: Primark, Jeans: River Island, Heels: New Look, Watch: Michael Kors

Typical isn't it, when you only have one day in the week to get my blog content (due to the fact I work six days a week) and the heavens decide it would be a good day to open and rain on my parade - quite literally!!

Oh well, you will just have to enjoy a boring white background from my house rather than some pretty scenery - sorry.

A while back I bought this oversized boyfriend style coat from Primark for just £10 in the sale; I know can you believe that I found a winter coat for just £10? It is fab quality; it is 95% polyester so not the typical wool you would usually get when spending a small fortune but it is so thick and keeps you lovely and toasty on those cold days - ticks those practicality boxes!

For ages I have been on the lookout for a coat exactly like this but as it isn't my usual style I didn't want to pay over the odds for something that I would only wear a couple of times. We do live in the world of fast fashion after all.

I won't blab on, I might do a separate post or video on this subject; but when you find hidden gems and beauties like this coat it makes you realise that you can keep up to date with the latest styles on a budget. Put in the comments below if you would love an in-depth post on this!

Have you recently purchased a camel coat? If so please send me a link of how you style it, I am intrigued as this colour and style is new to me.
