Soap & Glory Deep Cleansing Milk

Can we just take a few minutes and take a bow to Soap & Glory for sharing this magnificent product into our lives.

The 4-in-1 Deep Cleansing Milk is my new holy grail product and I cannot believe it has taken me this long to discover it. I was a little reluctant at first when I read that it melts away make up, for me finding the perfect make up remover is very difficult not many out there remove all product and some require a lot of scrubbing.

For a few years I have been swapping and changing between a few micellar cleansing waters which have become extremely popular in recent years. One evening I had completely run out of my micellar water and remembered seeing this particular Soap & Glory cleansing milk which was part of the mahoosive Christmas special box that was available in Boots.

Oh my, it is absolutely incredible and was taken right back. Now it says it melts away make up, I just could not believe how well the products slid right off my face. The peach and go juice extracts gives a cooling, hydrating and extremely creamy which thins out and feels a little greasy once applied onto the skin. It is super easy to use and you only need a small amount on the tips of your fingers and then rub this gently into the skin circular motions, then gently over the eyes. All you need to do is dampen a cloth or muslin cloth and gently wipe away the product and voila!!

There is no need to scrub or apply a lot of pressure when using the product, it really does just melt away even my waterproof mascaras and eyeliners!! If you are looking for a new make up remover I would definitely recommend this product, for me it is miles better than anything on the market at the moment.

Have you ever used this product before?

A Day at the Races

Last week I got the opportunity to put my glad-rags on and spend the day at the races, it was a whole new experience for me and I had such a great time.

Hearing everyone else talk about their experience at the races makes them sound like such glamorous affairs, sipping champagne whilst wearing the most beautiful dresses and fascinators. I have to say it did not disappoint and it was right up my street I had such a fabulous time and cannot wait to go again.

A trip to the races also meant a new dress was in order, I was a bit bored of playing it safe so decided that it was time to go for a different style and to revamp my wardrobe a little. Scanning all the online retailers it wasn't long before this beautiful crochet number caught my eye, originally it was the white version which drew me in but that was one step a little too far, being quite a clumsy person meant it was not the wisest idea so the black one had to be the best bet.

Usually I am not a fan of the midi length, for me and my body shape, it cuts my legs in half making me look stumpy and we all know that it isn't a good look. However I am in LOVE with this dress, even thought the crochet is quite heavy and stiff it dropped beautifully from the cinched in waist and flowed out elegantly.

I teamed the dress why my trusty nude heels, clutch bag and added a pop of colour with the burgundy fascintor.
