The Pink Dress

I'm loving this glorious weather at the moment, it seriously takes me to such a happy place and I love to get out of bed on a morning (well to some degree anyway!). After losing a little bit of weight over the years, my confidence has grown a tiny amount for me to feel comfortable in dresses and venturing out with my legs out! with minimal fake tan as well.

I bought this dress about two to three years ago from Primark after I saw Lily Melrose rocking it (I think it was Lily), from the minute I set my eyes on it I knew it had to become part of my wardrobe. It is not the usual style I would go for, being a smock dress it is rather baggy meaning it drowns out my body shape but I guess that is good if I am having a bad food day.

It was the beautiful print that drew me to the dress, I just love the bold colour and print, super girly and very summery!!

Are you a fan of these style of dresses? Let me know if you have found something similar recently!!

Lace Up Sandals

Cami - George at Asda, Trousers - Primark, Sandals - Primark, Blazer - H&M, Watch - Michael Kors, Phone Case - Cath Kidston, Necklace - Accessorize

How blooming cute are these khaki lace up sandals? I love a good bargain and these absolute beauties are on of Primark's finest for just £17, with the mini heel making them smarter and more suitable to wear at work. Let's just say if I wake up in a morning and it is not raining then these are certainly my footwear of choice for the day.

At first I wasn't so sure about teaming the khaki sandals with the deep burgundy printed trousers and loose fit blazer but after a few minutes of deliberation I decided to just roll with it (which is not like me) and boy was I happy with the outcome. The white cami breaks up the whole look to give it a summer vibe to what is rather an autumnal outfit.

I cannot wait to get my hands on more lace up footwear, they have become a huge statement this season and have certainly become a bit part of my wardrobe.

Benefit Brow Miniatures

I love a goody freebie in a magazine especially when it is something from Benefit and happens to be minis of their newly launched brow products.

Their brow launch has got to be one of the biggest I can ever think of with around 11 new products all of which have a fantastic range of shades, finally something out there to suit everyone which has been lacking for some time. Can we just take a moment to look at this packaging, isn't it just so beautiful?!

Over the past few weeks I have been able to find three miniature brow products;  Goof Poof Eyebrow Pencil, Gimme Brow volumizing eyebrow gel and the Ready Set Brow! Clear brow gel with Elle, Marie Claire and Glamour magazines. You may be wondering why I don't just buy the full sized ones.. well they are on my list to buy I just wanted to trial a few of the products out first.

I am not too sure on the Goof Proof pencil at the moment, the product feels quite hard, once on it reminds me like a pencil that has been smudged and doesn't quite look right. But this could be down to the fact that it isn't quite the right shade for me and with a lighter tone it might blend much better.

However, I am in love with the two gels, they are ah-mazing!! The clear brow gel is great at setting your brows, I have never experienced such a great product like this that actually lasts all day, I use my Benefit Browzings to fill in my brows then apply this over the top and it works wonders!!

I've only tried out the Gimme Brow once when I went out on Saturday night, I wanted my brows to look fuller and thicker so I applied a bit of this gel product over the top of my browzings before setting them with the clear brow gel. I know that is quite a lot of product but it worked so well, as the Gimme Brow was a lighter shade it added a bit of depth and a 3D effect to my brows making them more natural rather than having a block of colour.

I cannot wait to try a few more products from the brow range and purchase both gels in the full size!!

Have you tried any of these products yet? I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.

Beauty and Skincare Haul

This weekend I treated myself to a little bit of a splurge on new beauty and skincare products, all be it most of them were needed. But with payday being last week I decided to pick up a couple new bits I certainly did not need but liked the look of.

Back in the day I dreaded this type of shopping spree, I was buying products I thought I needed when really I was wasting a hell of a lot of money on items that never worked, but thought I had to have them because everyone else were raving about them.

Nowadays I enjoy spending a lot of time looking into skincare products, working out what my skin needs and spending that little more on skincare items that have less ingredients in but are more worthwhile, much to my bank accounts dismay.

A couple of these products are re purchases; Nip + Fab Glycolic Cleansing Fix and the Revlon Colorstay Combination/Oily Foundation in Buff, these are my current favourites so had to re stock u on them.

I have been using the Eucerin moisturisers for a couple of months now, I loved them but thought it was time to switch my skincare routine up a bit. After what felt like hours mooching around the pricier brands in Boots, I chose the Nip +Fab Kale Fix Moisturiser and the Soap & Glory Dr Spot Breakout Gel. I've never tried these before but I am intrigued to see how they work as I am desperate to get rid of my horrendous breakouts.

Onto the beauty products; for a while now I have had my eye on the RosieBea lashes, specifically the more delicate ones like Kitty. I have always used a more fuller lash but sometimes felt these were a little harsh for my face even on nights out so wanted to try a more subtle 3/4 lash. Whilst I was purchasing all these beauty items at Superdrug, I noticed that Tanya Burr had a new range out, the 'Soft Luxe' collection, including matte lip products and matte nail polishes, I just had to add them to my basket.

I am looking forward to trying all these products out, I'd love to hear your thoughts if you have tried any of them before.
