Miss Selfridge Leaf Print Trousers

Miss Selfridge is a place I rarely step foot into, don't get me wrong they have stunning items but their sizing is more for the petite girl and can I struggle to find something to fit me or would look relatively decent (as much to my despair). Until I discovered these absolutely beautiful leaf printed loose fit trousers over on Asos last year (they are Miss Selfridge if you haven't already gathered).

I must sound like a broken record, you are probably thinking how many times can this style of trouser be mentioned on this blog over the past month. Apologies, but when you find so many beautiful prints, it is so difficult not to share with you all.

I'm not one for such a bold print (once again you probably all know this) however with it being summer I wanted to add a pop of colour and a little bit of vibrance to my wardrobe without going overboard. The dark blue background tones down the print which is what drew me to buy them as I knew they would be a bit more easier to style but I would feel comfortable wearing them.

They are extremely versatile, all you need to do is to team them with a plain tee such as this grey one and a cute pair of sandals and you are well away for day through until night. The small folds across the front of the waistband along with the tapered leg gives the trouser a smarter feel which makes them suitable for work. One thing I would say if you are getting this style of trouser is to size down, I think I got either a 10 or 12 and they are sooooo tight when you first put them on but they go super baggy very quick.

Unfortunately this actual pair aren't available as I did buy them last year, however, I have seen so many similar styles in different prints on many websites.

  1. I love a good pair of printed trousers and these are no less! I love the palm tree print that is becoming really popular for summer / holiday attire!
