It's a Camo Thing

Camo has taken a backseat from the style stakes over the past couple years after it came out of nowhere in 2012/13 to be a massive hit, particularly in the festival season which is where my love for the print grew.

It took me a long time before I found the right camo print and the perfect style and shape jacket to suit my figure. I love how it is quite a bold statement piece but the muted, washed out fabric makes it much easier to wear and style on an everyday basis. Usually for me I style it to add a bit of life to all black outfits, as you will have noticed on a lot of my outfit posts, I don't like wearing a lot of colour.

This jacket would look super cute teaming it with a short summer white dress, black Chelsea boots and some red lippy (I might even give this a go myself when, or should I say if the weather picks back up again).

I'd love to hear your thoughts on camo?

  1. No way was the jacket from Asda - that's wicked. I find from time to time, places like Tesco and Asda actually have some great clothing options. I'm totally with you, if I had a camo jacket, I think i'd go for more of a muted shade. Love the photos!
