Kylie Jenner 90s Nude Lip

Kylie Jenner 90's Nude Lip Tutorials have been circulating the blogging world for a few months now and I have to say they have inspired me quite a lot and I wanted to try and create this look. After all Kylie Jenner is a beauty and fashion inspiration and shes only 16? That is crazy!!

There is the one and only lip product favoured by bloggers to recreate this 90s lip and it is the MAC Velvet Teddy Lipstick, it is a beautiful warm, dark nude shade with beige/brown undertones. Every MAC store or counter I went to it was sold out so it is fairly difficult to get your hands on but is well worth the wait.

I absolutely love this lipstick, I thought it would be a little too dull and a slight mucky shade for my lips. It just pulls together your autumn/winter look together beautifully. It is a velvet lipstick which gives off a more matte look once applied however the consistency is very creamy and soft so it doesn't dry your lips out.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on this lipstick and the Kylie Jenner 90s lip look.

October Favourites

Well October certainly flew by, it has been a month that has had its ups and downs but in the blogging world I feel that I have started to feel a little more confident in how I would like Adventures of Wonderland to steer towards. Now the countdown to Christmas can really begin!!

I had been on the hunt for an illuminating concealer for quite some time, I need the ever darkening bags under my eyes to disappear an

Collection Illuminating Brightening Concealer
With plenty late and sleepless nights I needed one product to remove the ever darkening bags under my eyes without being too cakey (its a word right?) with orange undertones. Hallelujah the Collection Illuminating Concealer does just the trick, with a pretty purse friendly price tag and lightening particles to make your eyes look wide awake.

Make Up Revolution Eye Shadow Palette
Yeah, yeah, yeah I'm pretty sure you are all bored of me babbling on about this brand and the eye shadow palettes but just look how pretty they are... and also another affordable product. I love the warm tones of all these shades and how they blend beautifully together, plus there is a different look for ever occasion out there!
Nars Copacabana Illuminator
A beautiful light reflecting, shimmering and highlighting illuminator with the coolest name on the planet! I love how you can mix this in with your foundation to create a dewy look or just apply to your cheekbones for that highlighting effect it is the perfect all round product. The consistency is very light and soft so can be blended extremely well.

Chelsea Boot
These have been the only footwear I have reached for, for the whole of October no matter how the weather has been. They are super comfortable, light and go with whatever I have in my wardrobe which is extremely handy. I just cannot get enough of them!

Green Tea
I'm on a kind of health kick (how many times are you going to hear me say this?), and for someone who is a huge lover of tea this is not the easiest switch to make but after persistence I can finally say that Green Tea is not that bad. After just one day I can notice a huge difference in myself, there is less bloating which is from not using milk. If you are looking for a small change then I would suggest trying Green Tea.

Pitch Perfect Soundtrack
I like to think that I am part of the film when I sing along to every track on the album, its just the best thing since sliced bread. It is the best movie soundtrack I have ever heard I know that is a huge statement to make but I am not really a fan of them, it is just a fun and happy album to listen to.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on any of these products that I have mentioned and if they would make your monthly favourites.

L'Oreal Micellar Water

L'Oreal are another brand to join the hype in creating the ever popular and new product Micellar Water, if you are not familiar with this then where have you been? Haha but no, it is pretty much water in a bottle and removes your make up extremely easy, they are all dupes of the Bioderma Micellar Water.

This particular product is extremely soft and silky and completely delicate to the skin, making it fairly clear that are no harsh perfumes in the ingredients which is fantastic if you suffer with sensitive skin.

I do find that even though it explains on the label "No Rubbing", you do need to rub a little bit over the eyes if you wear quite a lot of mascara. It does remove every bit of make up off and I have not woken up with panda eyes yet.

I'd love to hear what you think of this product and if you love it or not.

Faux Fur

Charity Shops have come up trumps again in adding the final few items to my winter wardrobe, I need to venture into them more than what I do as I always manage to shock myself with what you can discover.

Fur gilets have made their way to be a staple piece into the Autumn/Winter trend this year and I have to say that they look as glamorous as ever which is why I needed to get one. For a few months I had my eye on a certain one in H&M which is about £30 which is a fantastic price, but for some reason I refrained myself from buying it on many occasions and now I know why. A £5 one in my exact size was waiting for me in a charity shop, it was originally from Primark so I have no idea how old it is, all I can say is it looked in great condition and as though it had never been worn. I cannot contain my excitement of my latest bargain find!

I'd love to hear from you as to what bargains you have landed upon in Charity or Vintage shops.

Holygrail Products

In my daily routines, whether it is haircare, fashion, beauty or skincare I usually leap to the exact same products all the time, it could be that I'm just familiar with it so I prefer to use it or if it is the quickest thing to reach out for. So I began to put a bit more thought into this and picked out five items which I would class as my Holygrail products, as I literally could not live without any of these products.

Rimmel Top & Base Coat Polish
I don't really need to explain what this product does as the name really does the job for me. I feel that the base coat helps stop that horrible yellow stained colour you find on your nails once you have removed your nail polish. But the best thing about this nail polish is that the top coat leaves your nails extra shiny and the polish lasts for so much longer.

Superdrug Mousse
If you have fairly flat hair and looking for the easiest and cheapest solution to add that little bit of volume, then look no further than mousse. I maybe could splash out a little bit more but I am still loving the Superdrug Mousse which is less than £2 a bottle, for me it doesn't make the hair go crisp like I have found using other brands. I add quite a lot of this product all over my hair and if you blow dry it then it does add that bit of lift, I certainly notice a huge difference if I have not used this in my routine.

Comb
This is probably the most random product I probably could talk about on my blog, although I say this but it has to be the most useful item I could ever own. I love a bit of backcombing, and with a comb it is fairly small, and the gaps between the bristles(?) are just right to get into the roots of your hair to start backcombing. Now the reason why I would class this as my favourite holygrail product is that it can fit into any bag or pocket when you are leaving the house, I am always in need of brushing my hair through and adding that bit more volume when I am out and about.

Hairspray
I feel like we are starting to get a little pattern here, so my next product I would pick is hairspray, I just love the thing and use it all the time. I do feel it is a love it or hate it product purely down to the condition your hair looks once used, sometimes it makes hair look crisp and dry, if you find the right one it can add a little bit of shine whilst holding it in place. Whoever invented it seriously needs a million pats on their back, I actually think I should invest in a travel size one so I can reapply when I am out.

Backcombing Spray
With the three products I have mentioned above, this Vo5 product is amazing to help me achieve a bit of volume in my hair. It has a bit more grit and sticks to the roots far more than dry shampoo which allows the particles of your hair to stay more tousled once backcombed. You spray it in exactly the same places you would as a dry shampoo and does exactly the same job as well, you just need to add some hairspray to make it stick for the whole day.

November Wishlist

Another month and another wishlist that actually took forever to decide what I wanted, what is wrong with me? I usually have a list as long as my arm of items that I am loving at the minute and want to buy.

The only item on this list which is a must is the notepad, I love using something really pretty to be able to write down my ideas for blog posts as everything is in one place and not loose sheets flying around all over the place.

I'm absolutely loving this time of year lighting my candles on an evening and feeling all warm and snug, the only thing that is missing is much more winter scented candles and I feel that Yankee Candle have a superb selection of winter scents.
