All White Errrrything!!!

I am loving white at the minute, there is just something about it, so crisp, clean and fresh and is the perfect shade for summer. As I walk down the high street there are so many people rocking the colour white and there is a little envy that they can look so good and there is me in my dark shades. Every time I go shopping I head straight to the items that are black or grey instead of pushing myself to be a little bit braver and go out of my comfort zone.

The only items of clothing I own which are white and that is a couple of t-shirts and a blazer which is a very new edition to my wardrobe. This summer I do aim to buy a few other pieces, my main target is a pair of white jeans as they are a good starting point and can be styled with pretty much anything.

For me I will probably stick towards a pure white shade rather than an off white, I feel that it will suit me a lot better, I will be more comfortable wearing the item and not worry too much if it looks grubby on the first wear.

I'd love to hear your thought on what you think of the shade white? Feel free to leave your comments below.

July Wishlist

My wishlist this month is pretty much make up brush heavy, there are quite a few brushes that I don't really own and would like to add to my collection, as the saying goes: a girl can never have enough! At the moment I'm finding my foundation isn't applying as well as I want it to, so I thought I would try out a flat ended foundation brush, why I don't already own one is beyond me.

The other two brushes I desperately want to try out is a contouring brush and a concealer brush, I would like to try and get a bit more definition just under the cheek bones and my blusher brush is a little bit too big for this.

Then, I have added a hard angled brush and eye shadow brush, both of these I already own. However, the angled one is extremely mini which came with my Benefit Brow zing product, so I am wanting something that is a lot bigger, then the eye shadow is just to add another one (greedy!!)

So we are currently in the festival season and floral crowns are full in force on the high street, I'm heading to V Fest this year and have decided that I want to see if I can pull one off. The mixed pinks/reds are my favourite as they are so vibrant but very delicate looking, they just look amazing on.

Statement necklaces, well, they have been around for some type and typical me now decides to jump on the bandwagon. In all honesty, I haven't actually felt brave enough to wear one, when would I wear it? What would I wear one with? etc. I am very picky as well and have not yet found one that I have instantly liked, so my challenge in July is to hunt the perfect one down!!

Now, after I created this wishlist it suddenly dawned on me that these black Chelsea ankle boots were also in my June Wishlist. I absolutely love these boots, I think they are so cute and can be worn with literally anything. I did find some in Primark the other week, however, they were suede and I wasn't too keen as I would be wearing them all year around, so if it rains they would get ruined.

I hope you enjoyed looking at my wishlist, I'd love to hear from you if you own any of these products.

June Favourites

Once again I have struggled to come up with some favourites for you from this month. When it comes to my make up and beauty regime I have been mixing it up and trying out different products which has been good as I have fell in love with some products stashed away in my make up box from a while ago.

As it has been quite hot this past month I have been reaching out for a lighter foundation, I wanted my skin to be able to breathe and re hydrate so I discovered my Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation. This product I stopped using a while ago as I felt it wasn't the correct colour for me and it wasn't a heavy coverage, however, with using a bit of fake tan it looks perfect and blends it well.

You are well aware now that I have stepped up my skincare regime and I do feel better for it, my face is super soft and I feel my pores have got slightly better (still there unfortunately). I have been loving using the Garnier Micellar Water, nspa Melting Cleansing Gel and the nspa Hot Cloth Polish together, they seem to exfoliate and dehydrate my face extremely well.

When it comes to shoes, I own quite a few pairs however, this past month I have been obsessed with these orange sandals I picked up in the sale from River Island last year. They seem to go with pretty much all my summer pieces, which is quite a shock for me as I didn't think they would be worn that much. I think it's just the vibrancy of them and they look so pretty.

Now, onto something a little different. Since Christmas I decided that I would read the Hunger Games books (once again late on the bandwagon) as everyone keeps going on about how amazing they are and now the films are out I just want to watch them. The other week, when it was the hottest day of the year I chilled in the garden and decided I should read. Now, you may think I'm lazy but I managed to read the whole first book in a day!! I was hooked, there was so much drama constantly I could not put it down. The film did let me down, there was an awful lot of important information missing which was very disappointing, I hope the second one is much better.

Have you used any of these products, or read the hunger games? (no spoilers please), then I would love to hear what you think about them. Feel free to comment below :)

Beauty : Benefit Brow zing

It is no secret that me and my eyebrows do not get on, some days they are too big, others too small.

I have never been one of them people who made such a fuss over eyebrows (not that there is anything wrong with that at all), but I never saw them as important to me. They are on my face and that was about it really.

Over the past year I have come to the point that they need making a bit bolder when I apply my make up as they tend to lose a bit of colour once I have applied my powder. I have dabbled with quite a few brow products, from different brands to different shades and different styles of pencil. However, I finally got my hands on the Benefit Brow zing and I have never looked back.

It comes in three shades; light medium and deep, I use the medium but on some occasions I feel it is a little bit too dark for me. There is a wax and seperate powder compartment with two mini brushes, one an angled and the other a flat headed one with a mini pair of tweezers too.

You can use this product in four ways depending on which you feel works best for yourself, or if you want to make more of an effort.

Take the mini angled brush or your own angled brush and dip it in the wax and place it onto your brows, shade them to however you feel comfortable doing, I like to go along the bottom of my brows first, then the top to get my shape and then shade the middle in. Once you are happy with it, use the flat ended brush and take a little bit of the powder and go over your brows once more, this sets the wax that you have just applied and it also removes the stickiness too.

This can also be done in just one step if your in a bit of a rush, take the angled brush and add some of the wax and also some of the powder and fill them in exactly the way you would have done before. Bare in mind that your powder compartment can become a little messy as the wax is a much darker colour.

Or if your really not that bothered about using both of the products at the same time, well just use on of them, they work just as well, that is the beauty of the product. I really do love it and it is super easy to apply and gives off a great result.

Have you tried this product before? I'd love to hear your thoughts on it.
