Birthday Beauty Haul

I thought I would do a little birthday haul for you guys to read, it is quite an unplanned post as I actually went to Leeds to buy my Michael Kors watch which you can read about here. But it turns out that I had money leftover which allowed me to raid the Benefit counter in House of Fraser which was a treat. I have had my eye on the Browzing for a very long time but could never justify spending the money on it being a student. It is not an essential or a need when I had two other brow products from Mac. But, when the propelling pencil ran out I thought it was time to try something a little different, I haven't used this product yet so I cannot say how good it is, I'm sure a blog post will follow.

I also picked up the sun beam, this has been something that I have only just noticed and wanted to give it a whirl. I already have a small tester pot of the high beam which is the pink highlighter and I love that, heading into summer I feel a more bronzed and shimmer highlight to my cheeks would look quite pretty.

The next three products are my everyday essentials in my make up bag and I had run out of the foundation and primer a couple of weeks ago. I had been using the Rimmel Match Perfect Foundation I believe in Ivory, however it is a little too dark for my skin so I was desperately wanting to get the Revlon Nearly Naked  120 Vanilla back in my life. As for the nail polish, this was a little treat to myself with there being the 3 for 2 offer back on at Boots. I don't know what I have been doing wrong or if it happens to anyone else but my nail polishes dry out very quick, I store them in a cool dry place away from sunlight but they still all clog up and go quite gloopy (is that even a word?) I love the Rimmel 60 seconds polish as the brush is the perfect size, shape and stiffness to apply without making a huge mess around the nails. It is in the colour of 415 Instyle Coral.

Have you used any of these products? I'd love to hear what you think of them.

Michael Kors - Rose Gold Watch

After three long years of waiting I finally have a Michael Kors Rose Gold watch *smiley face*, I honestly don't think I have ever been this excited before. I was lucky enough to get some money for my birthday and I had saved up enough to buy the watch, plus I got student discount which was a bonus and meant there was money left over for another sneaky little purchase which meant even bigger smiles.

I think these watches are beautiful, they are so elegant looking. There was so many to choose from which made it very hard and left me and my mum walking from shop to shop as I had a particular one in mind and luckily House of Fraser had the one. I do feel they are quite pricey, but you are paying for the name and it is a good investment piece so the price tag can be justified.

p.s. It shimmers differently in different lights which is noticeable in these images.

21st Birthday Celebrations

Firstly I would like to put a little disclaimer, if you do not wish to look at these images of my 21st birthday and see some of the gifts I received then you are more than welcome to click off this post. I just wanted to share with you my special day, as myself like to have a little nosey at what people got for their birthdays (cheeky!)

I have been very spoilt this year and I am really grateful for all the gifts that people gave me for my birthday, hope you enjoy the post :)

May Wishlist

There is not that much that I am actually after this month which comes at a bit of a shock, I usually have a huge list of items I want to buy, my bank account will be very happy.

After going through my clothes I have come to the conclusion that I need to invest in a few more basics, plain tops in numerous colours need to be added to my wardrobe which I can team with my patterned trousers or floral skirts. Another major clothing item I have been wanting for ages is a white blazer, I look everytime I go shopping but cannot find one that I love which is very annoying.

Then a couple of beauty products have found their way into the wishlist, both from Benefit. First is the browzing which is something I have been after for quite a few months now but have not had the money to buy it and the other is sun beam. I am a huge fan of the high beam but that is a mini tester pot that I got free in a magazine. I feel this has a bit of a more shimmer and a little bit summery (maybe with the name sun makes me think that).

Have you tried any of these products? What do you think of them?
