My Updated Hair Care Routine

My haircare routine has changed quite a bit since my previous post a couple of months back, I like to switch things around every once in a while as I feel that your hair can get a little used to products you have been using a while and it just remains feeling a little bit greasy.

Even though I am a huge fan of Aussie products, the one that I was using was making my hair feel voluptuous but fairly dry so a more nourishing shampoo was needed. After scanning the shelves and picking up man products I thought I would try out the L'Oreal fibreology thickening shampoo which is meant to penetrate and expand the hair, the velvety consistency really softens my hair and it smells nice too.

Next up I have swapped a normal conditioner for a hair mask which needs to be used every time I wash my hair as it softens the bleached ends tremendously and makes it so much easier to brush through.

My next three products are all used just before I blow dry my hair to try and get some volume, firstly I put quite a huge amount of the Superdrug Mousse and work it into the roots and then down my hair. A lot of mousses can leave your hair feeling quite hard and crisp before drying your hair and also if it gets a little wet too. Also at the roots of my hair I like the spray the Vo5 Volume Boost Gel Spray, it is quite a sticky product and can also leave your hair feeling a little crisp if you want to leave it to dry naturally.

The newest addition to my routine is the Vo5 Plump it Up Amplifying Blow Dry Lotion which is also a heat defence spray too. Since using this the past month I have noticed a huge difference in the volume of my hair, it seems much thicker and lasts for a good two to three days.

Last but no means least is my Argon Oil, I'm still getting my head around this product it is so weird knowing that you are adding oils to your hair. I don't use this every time I wash my hair as too much can damage the hair and it is left feeling too greasy and eurgh!

Have you tried any of these products before? I'd love to hear what you think of them.
