Redemption Palette Iconic 1 Tutorial

I thought that it would be quite fun to create a make up look using my new products from Make Up Revolution, and I have to say I quite like the outcome of the dark smokey eye look. Normally I would steer clear of such a dark eye as I always thought it made my face look a bit too pale and ill. Hopefully, one day I will be able to create a whole look just using their products.

My main focus was on the eyes, so for that I used three different shades from the Iconic 1 eyeshadow palette. Firstly I swept across the beige/brown shade (3rd along) for a base colour which would then help the bolder shades to stick and last longer. In the inner corner of my eye I used the deep brown shimmer shade (7th along), on the outer parts I used the beautiful bronze shimmer (6th along) which is almost like a cream formula. I compacted quite a bit on the lids to create the heavy look, then I blended them together.

For my cheeks I contoured a little bit with my Benefit Hoola and then went over my cheekbones with the two palest peachy pinks from the Ultra Blush Palette in Hot Spice, then went over them with the baked highlighter for that dewy effect.

I hope that you liked this make up look, and would love you to let me know which products of theirs is your favourite.

  1. What a lovely look! Your eyes look beautiful but not overdone, I really like how you used the bronzey shade.
